Jane Stelly
Jane Stelly, 87, of Nederland, died Saturday, August 3, 2024. She was born on April 8, 1937, in Grand Coteau, Louisiana, to Louise and Frank Marks.
Jane was a great cook. She loved reading and going to garage sales and flea markets. She also enjoyed camping and gardening.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy Landry, of Vinton, Louisiana and Susan Moreno, of Abbeville, Louisiana; sons, Allen Stelly, of Nederland; John Stelly, of Hamshire; Robert Stelly and his wife, Megan, of Nederland; Frank Stelly, of Nederland; Michael Stelly and his wife, Joyce, of Nederland; brothers, Leo Marks and his wife, Mary, of Nederland; Rodney Marks and his wife, Melody, of Kountze; nineteen grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lee Stelly; parents; brother, Joe Marks; sister-in-law, Rita Marks; grandson, John Michael Hennen; and great-grandchild, Torrie Granger.
A gathering of Mrs. Stelly’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.

Jane was an amazing lady. She was an amazing 2nd mom to me and best Mother-In-Law. She will be greatly missed. I loved her dearly.
Not a day goes by that I don’t think about all our coffee talks. She always had some of the best stories. She will be missed. Sending everyone hugs and love. Prayers for comfort, strength and peace.
