Todd Bailey

Hello family and friends. My name is Todd Bailey. I am Janice’s nephew, the youngest son of her older brother Stephen M. Bailey Jr. I have the pleasure of my memories of Janice as always being filled with love and joy. Janice was always kind and loving to me and my brother David. She possessed a sweet demeanor and constantly doted on us. She would constantly say how proud she was of us. Something she may of gotten from Grandpa Bailey perhaps. He always told me, “Make me proud man-child.” I can hear her raspy voice. The occasional smell of her cigarettes. As a child I was always fascinated by cigarette wallet. She gave the best one arm hugs while she held her cigarette away not to get ash on anyone. I love Aunt Janice. I can see my dad, Uncle James, Grandma and Grandpa Bailey embracing you. God Bless everyone. Todd Bailey

Janice and I were best friends our entire life. Growing up on Jackson street in Nederland, the memories are endless. She was a ray of light in my life and of course the life of the party. Her personality was big and bold and her heart was filled with love. Regina, I will always cherish the many memories of you and your family. Thank you so much for taking good care of Janice. Janice my friend, I will see you in heaven.
