Janice Dixson
Janice Carolyn Dixson,74, of Vidor, died Saturday, May 30, 2020. She was born on March 13, 1946, in Beaumont, to Nellie Hodges McDaniel and A. C. McDaniel.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-eight years, Reverend David Dixson of Vidor; daughter, Belinda Hargraves and her husband, David, of Sulphur, Louisiana; sons, DeWayne Dixson and his wife, Taffy, of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Scott Dixson and his wife, Renea, of Merryville, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jonathan Dixson and his wife, Erin, of Kirbyville; Brittany Fulfer and her husband, Justin, of Orange; Jennifer Dixson of Vidor; Clint Hargraves and his wife, Hannah; Tonia Amos and her husband, Josh, all of Sulphur, Louisiana; Brian Dixson; Bethany Dixson, both of Merryville, Louisiana; and Rachel Dixson; Jeremy Catron; and Mckayla Cecil, all of Jonesboro, Arkansas; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Eli, Keeley, MaKenzie, Madison, Averi, Ryder, Rhett, Drake, and Josh; and brother, Charles Young and his wife, Claudia, of Beaumont.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Reverend HW McDaniel, Melvin McDaniel, Gordon McDaniel, Willie McDaniel; and sister, Margie Williams.
A gathering of Mrs. Dixson’s family and friends will begin 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 4, 2020, at First Pentecostal Church, 1420 North 5th Street, Silsbee. Interment to follow at Del Rose Cemetery, Vidor, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Please observe social distancing.
