Javier "Moreno" Pura Zuniga

Javier Pura, 55, of Beaumont, died Saturday, February 13, 2021. He was born on July 19, 1965, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to Ausencia Zuniga and Marcelino Pura. 

Survivors include his parents; wife of ten years, Shirley Pura; daughters, Cassandra Rubio and her fiancé Juan Plaza, and Michelle Rubio; son, Christian Rubio and his fiancé Ciarra Haynes; daughter, Arely Pura; son, Guillermo Pura; grandchildren, Alexis Cardoso, Aliyah Cardoso, Daniel Garcia, Jr., Avani Garcia, Au’Bri Rubio, and baby Carlos on the way; seven brothers and sisters; nephew, Fili Pura and his wife, Raquel Pura and their three children; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his son Ismael Pura. 

A gathering of Mr. Pura’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Broussard’s. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
