Captain J C Wall was instrumental in my life, he was my Boss, college, friend, and mentor. A constant wealth of Wisdom in Houston Pilot’s organization, a very good tugboat Capt. & Pilot. He will be sorely missed. Thanks for the memories !

JC was a member of the Houston Ship Pilots for many years. His generation of pilots and JC himself were instrumental in pushing the art of ship handling to its practical limits allowing Houston to become the largest shipping port in the US. The techniques they developed were studied all over the world.
