Jean Theresa Shivers-Williams

May 5, 1922 - March 31, 2022

Jean Theresa Shivers-Williams, 99, of Beaumont, died peacefully on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Jean was born May 5, 1922, in Brooklyn, New York, to Vera Jane Vaccarro Porrazzo and Charles Porrazzo.

Jean is survived by her son, Robert Nathan MacNish and his wife, Jeannette, of New Milford, New Jersey; daughter, Sheila Shivers-Glenn and her husband, Richard, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Lauren Richelle Glenn of Beaumont; Gregory Joseph MacNish of New Milford, New Jersey; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Vera Porrazzo; first husband, James Leonard Shivers, Jr.; second husband, George Alan Williams; sisters, Mildred Rodriguez and Vera Dolly Drago; and brother, Vincent W. Porrazzo.

Mrs. Shivers-Williams’ cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
