Jeffrey Louis Filipich

October 7, 1991 - October 19, 2022

Jeffrey Louis Filipich, 31, of Beaumont, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022. He was born on October 7, 1991, to James Louis Filipich and Sharon Ellen Filipich.

Jeff, the “Mayor”, is survived by his parents, James and Sharon; his big sister, Eryn; brother-in-law, Jon; his niece, Zoe; his nephew, Zachary; his beloved Aunt Judy and Uncle Phillip; his “Cougar Girlfriends”; countless friends in Southeast Texas; and many cousins abroad.

Jeffrey never met a stranger, whether going out to eat at his favorite local spots, playing baseball with A.S.K., or just running errands with Mom and Dad.

Jeff enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, watching Barney the Dinosaur on repeat, and listening to his favorite tunes on his iPod. You couldn’t miss his dance moves when his favorite song, The Macarena, came across the playlist.

A celebration of life will be from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 30, 2022, at JW’s Patio, 6420 Phelan Boulevard, Beaumont.

His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Adaptive Sports for Kids (A.S.K.), P.O. Box 332, Nederland, Texas 77627, in Jeffrey’s name. https://adaptivesportsforkids.org/donate/

James and Sharon and Eryn, I am so sorry for your loss. I miss my friend Jeffrey. At the end of the week I looked so forward to spending time with him. I will miss him telling me “”I knew that was you Marsha”” as I walked thru the back gate or the front in an attempt to surprise him. Jeffrey was smart and so loved by many. He was so well taken care of and loved by his parents . I hope that he is listening to Barney and watching his favorite videos. I thank God I was part of his large circle of friends. I also hope there is an abundance of chocolate ice cream for him. You are free my friend!!!

    James Filipich says:

Thanks Marsha…the Mayor loved you and all his cougars.

David and I are so broken hearted for your loss. Jeffrey was such a sweetheart and always smiling. He will be missed but we know he is in heaven with Jesus. Praying for God’s love, peace, and comfort for you all. There is a song by Guy Pernod called “Knowing what I know about Heaven” that brought me great comfort when my younger sister passed. You might want to give it a listen some day. Love you all. Miss Joanne

“Life is a banquet & most poor suckers are starving to death!”
Jeffrey knew how to enjoy life and love everyone better than most!
Jeffrey was smart, intuitive, and a sweet sweet lover boy!!
Whether he was waiting by the front door “I knew you were coming!” Or being ready to “hang out” Jeffrey was always ready!!
A music lover at heart, he always had his headphones cranked up!!
And there were no “inside voices” when he was hanging with his cougars!!
Sharon (Poker) & James, thank you for sharing Jeffrey with us! It has been a true honor and pleasure!
    I love Jeffrey & You !!
    As Barney would say
    “Super-Dee-Duper”

    Sharon Filipich says:

    James Filipich says:

Suzy…you always made Jeffrey laugh…one of his cougar babes.
