Jennifer Jane Ard

Jennifer Jane Ard, 46, of Lumberton, died Thursday, March 6, 2025. She was born January 4, 1979, in Beaumont, Texas, to Marilyn Jane Boykin Welch and Jerome Welch.

Survivors include her children, Dillon Welch and his wife, Audrey, of Lumberton; Dolton Coleman and his fiancé, Danica Romero, of Nederland; and Dathan Ard and Braley Ard, both of Lumberton; grandchildren, Riddick Welch, Rexton Welch, and Aria Welch; parents, Marilyn and Jerome Welch; and Tim and Robin Skaggs, all of Lumberton; grandmother, Delpha Cansler of Lumberton; siblings, Jared Welch of Lumberton; and Ashlyn Kilpatrick and her husband, Stephen, of Silsbee; stepsisters, Amiee Day and Angela Mehl; nieces and nephew, Reece, Jenna and Holton Kilpatrick; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her daughter, Addie Ard; son, Draden Ard; grandparents, Janie and John Boykin, Gloria and John Welch, and Tedd Skaggs; and aunt, Darla Boykin Blanchard.

A gathering of Jennifer’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at Boykin Family Cemetery, Lumberton, Texas.
