Jennifer Lynn Touchett

Jennifer L. Touchett, 59, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, January 1, 2025. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was born on March 10, 1965, to Sue Bruce (Burks) and James Bruce.

Jennifer was a devoted computer science teacher, at Central Highschool, later Beaumont United, in Beaumont ISD during her 27-year career.

Survivors include her children, Hilary Touchett and her husband, Louie Zhang, of Pearland; Hayley Wigley and her husband, Taylor Wigley, of Beaumont; Jacob Touchett and his wife, Vanessa Touchett, of Beaumont, and her favorite child, her dog Bruiser; her sisters-in-law, Jan Bach, Cherl Phillips; and brother-in-law, Rick Goldin. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Gianna Touchett, Noelle Touchett, Elliott Wigley, Lawson Wigley, and newest addition, Remy Touchett-Zhang

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Randy Touchett.

A gathering of Mrs. Touchett’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2025, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
