Jerry Lynn Breaux
Jerry Lynn Breaux, 72, of Winnie, TX passed away on March 16, 2026. She was born to Betty Minchew Breaux and Lenward Douglas Breaux on September 4, 1953, in Anahuac. She was raised by her beloved Grandmother and Grandfather Ernest and Lucille Breaux.
She will be remembered for her deep appreciation of the simple joys in life. She found peace and happiness outdoors, especially while mowing the grass, taking pride in keeping her surroundings beautiful. Her connection to nature was a reflection of her steady, caring spirit.
Jerry had a generous heart and a quiet strength. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, never hesitating to show up for others with kindness and compassion. Her selflessness left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
At home, she shared a special bond with her beloved Sister Cat, who brought her comfort and companionship. The love she had for her pet was evident to everyone around her.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa DuBose and her husband, Bob of Quitman; granddaughter Devan Peckham and her husband Hayes, of Mineola; great-grand girl Heidi Kate Peckham; and her beloved Sister Cat. She will be deeply missed by her friends and all whose lives she touched.
Cremation arrangements for Ms. Breaux were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.

This hit me a little hard. She was the sweetest person I ever knew. I knew her through my parents. She always had a kind word for me. That wonderful smile was contagious. Rest in peace Jerry. I will always remember you ❤️.
Jerrie was a beautiful soul. I can still see that big smile sitting in church behind me. She was so sweet and was one of God’s angel’s on earth. Rest in peace sweet lady. ❤️

So sad to hear the news about Jerry. She will be missed by so many people. Jerry had a warm heart and loved helping & reaching out to those in need. I always loved her flowers and her yard. Jerry was truly a special person!! I first met her when she worked at FSA (Farm Service Agency). She always had her fantastic smile along with her willingness to help all of us in the farm program. Later when I started attending Church in Winnie, I saw Jerry more often. She was absolutely a warm loving person that brought joy to our lives. She will be missed!

We’re so sorry to hear this about our sweet friend. Jerry was one of the kindest souls I’ve ever known, and always was, starting in Mrs. Kayla’s first grade class all the way through school. My wife will miss her warm morning greetings with Jerry. I’ll miss our shared love of the singers we grew up loving. I pray Jim Reeves gives her a front row seat to a special heavenly concert. I could go on forever listing the ways she helped me after having surgery back in August. She took better care of me than any medical professional I’ve known. She was one of the best bosses I ever had and a better friend than I deserved. She will truly be missed. Rest well Jerry, you’ve more than earned it!

She loved Chambers County and always had stories of the agriculture history here. No stray animal would go hungry or thirsty if she could help them.
