Jerry was a great friend and Brother. I loved Him very much and He will be missed by many. He was a person that I looked up to and he was always there like a good friend is. His wonderful family, Cile, 4 boys and one darling girl. They came to Beaumont and moved in across the street 40 yrs ago and this added so much to our lives.. Jerry, you will never be forgotten. May His Soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed, REST_IN_PEACE, Amen

Cecile quebodeaux

thank you for the kind words.

Uncle Jerry was a very happy and positive person. You could not help but smile and laugh when around him. When my mom, sisters, and I would go to Louisiana for the summer visit, we always looked forward to stopping in Beaumont to see Uncle Jerry and family. My last favorite memory was a few years ago on Thanksgiving at Jamie's house. It was about the last time I took my mom out of the nursing home and brought her with me. Uncle Jerry stayed at her side the whole time, and she was just glowing at the attention. You saw the love they have for each other. I love Aunt Cecil as well. Please let me know if you need anything. Love you all.

There’s so much I want to say. Jerry was family, like a big brother and in the restaurant business he was a mentor for me. Also, I have such Great memories of all the hunting and fishing trips we used to go on with the gang. I still tell those stories to my children and friends . He used to drive to come visit all the time. Dad loved Jerry like a son May you rest in peace my Brother. Our thoughts and prayers go to you Cecile and your Family Love and prayers, Tracy and Julia Landry and family

Uncle Jerry dedicated his life to serving others and caring dearly for his family. He worked and played hard! It was always a joy and honor to be around him. My heart always melted when Uncle Jerry called me "Sugar". He will be greatly missed by all those lucky enough to have known his love and kindness. Although we are deeply mourning the physical loss of a great husband, caring father, and wonderful Uncle on Earth. We are comforted to know that he is rejoicing Heaven with our Savior.

As a couple we loved Jerry and remembering, when we all went to Commanders Palace to celebrate anniversaries. Laughter always present with funny comments. For me, he always referred to me as his girl friend; I guess that was a joke . That maybe went way back, maybe when I would visit Grand Isle and Cecile and I would walk in the sand to go see Jerry, at Don’s ; wonderful memories. Wish I could be with Cecile, to hold and comfort her and her family. My heart breaks not to be there to say good-bye ❤️

Uncle Jerry, you were the kindest, gentlest most giving man with the biggest heart I know. You welcomed me into the family and treated me like I was one of your own kids instead of a niece in law. You treated our girls like they were your grandkids instead of great nieces and you treated the twins like they were your great grand kids. You made sure we knew we were always welcomed at your house. You always had the biggest smile and gave the best hugs. You were the best uncle in law I could ask for. You will be missed but never forgotten. Love you. Rest In Peace Uncle Jerry

My favorite memories of Uncle Jerry were the ones we spent our summer vacations with him and Aunt Cecil at their beach house. He was ALWAYS laughing and smiling while calling everyone sugar. A very special memory I have of him was on my wedding day. He and Aunt Cecil came to my wedding reception which was on the 16th floor at the City Club! I was always told he was afraid of heights but he came anyway. That made me so happy seeing them there. I was very sad and heart broken when I was told he passed away. I am very blessed to have so many great memories of Uncle Jerry. I will always cherish these memories. I loved him dearly and will miss him greatly!

My Lord...What can you say about Jerry? He was truly one of a kind and a life long friend to me! I loved him like a Dad. If you knew Jerry there was nothing he wouldn't do for you. He had a wonderfully devoted wife in Cecile, raised a Great family with 6 awesome kids and was a very successful business man. Jerry had everything a man could ask for. Its hard to believe it has been over a month since you left us. I know you are up there having a good time like you always did on earth and we will all see you again one day!!

It was an exceedingly sad day yesterday when I found out my brother Jerry had gone on to be with the Lord. Jerry and I were like brothers and he lived with me in Lafayette while attending our last year in High School. Jerry would work at Don's until late and I would go pick him up in the Old Ford he owned. Jerry also worked with me and my cousins (the Carmichael Family) in Scott and picked cotton together and lived life to it's fullest as kids. He loved all my cousins and when we had the occasions in life after our lives were far away, he would always ask about them.. When we talked it was for a long time as we caught up on the family and our interests. Jerry was a hard working person who loved God, Family and country and will surely be missed. As a Christian, we will all be delighted to be with him in Heaven one day praising God.. Cecile, he always talked about you and I want you to know you and the family are in my prayers.
