Jesse Lopez

February 13, 1934 - February 3, 2026

Jesse Lopez, 91, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Jesse lived a life defined by service, generosity, and devotion to those he loved. He proudly served in the United States Army Reserves, was an active and dedicated member of the Lions Club, once serving as President, and belonged to the Masonic Lodge, where he formed lifelong bonds of brotherhood. A proud Aggie, Jesse was a member of the fighting TEXAS Aggie Class of 1956.

Jesse loved hunting, fishing, and his many trips to Colorado, where he created memories with the ones he loved most.  Above all, Jesse was known for his generous spirit and his deep love for his family. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and Grampa.

Jesse was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Juan and Concepsion Lopez; his wife, Mary Lopez; and his son, David Lopez.

He is survived by his loving daughter, BeLynda Guess and her husband, Dale; and their three children, Mary Lauren, Nathan, and Katherine; his son, Jesse Dewayne Lopez and his wife, Paula; his son David’s children, Barry and Sarah Lopez; and his great-granddaughters, Leighton, EmmaKate, and Lively.

Mr. Lopez’s services were handled by Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
