Jody Hampshire
Jody “Aunt Jo” Alexander Hampshire, 30, of Lumberton, died Friday, October 22, 2021. He was born on April 1, 1991, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to Glenda Sue Hampshire.
Survivors include his mother; Glenda Hampshire; son, James Allen Hampshire; mother of his child, Tommye Mayfield; and twin brother, Cody Allen Hampshire, all of Lumberton; sisters, Tisha Renee Hampshire and her husband, Sean Campbell, of Lumberton, Genie Constance of Vidor, and Deanna Henderson of Lumberton; grandmother, Helen Holland of Dry Prong, Louisiana; nephews, Braxtin Walker and Henry Calero; nieces, Trinidy Gardiner and Jazmine Landry; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A gathering of Jody’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 29, 2021, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.

Jody I met you and your family on you and Cody’s birthday in 2002 when yall were living on butler lol you were a pain then but we all became friends and watching you grow into a man is/was a blessing I’m going to miss you family is not defined by blood but who is there for you no matter what we love you and your family going to miss you nephew Jody

I loved you more than I think you ever knew. You have been my little brother since you were 3yrs old. I always tried my best to look out for you the best way I knew how, even if it meant tough love sometimes. Especially when you would pull my ponytail lol. I never thought things would end so crazy the way they did. You were my brother but most of all you were my friend and always had my back. This isn’t goodbye it’s an I’ll meet you there. Love you bub! You are missed you pain in my butt!

I am so sorry for your loss. Jody was a sweetheart. He had a big heart.was a awesome kid growing up. A bit of a handful when younger. But grew into a fine young man. He will be miss. Love to you all.
