I am so saddened to see this. We grew up across the street from them I went to school woth his son Ricky. Such a sweet family. Praying for all of you…
Love you uncle joe you will be missed love you to aunt liz
I loved working and hanging out with Mr. Joe. His East Texas stories and his, what I liked to call, “Joe-isms”, and the last minute scramble to find him Mid- County Madness tickets. If there’s anything I can say I knew about him, without any doubt whatsoever, is that he loved his family and he loved him some Bulldogs football. My thoughts and prayers go to his family and all that loved him. He will be surely missed.
I’m so sorry Liz. I wish we could have lived closer so our children could know Joe Allen and the whole family better. Being the younger cousin, I didn’t get to be more involved with the older cousin’s (lol), but we love you both. I’m so thankful that we all know where he is. Knowing this will get you through this dark time. I am praying for you and your boys.
Love

It’s hard to put into words how special Joe was. He had an infectious laugh and ability to make you feel a part of the family. When Joe, Liz, Glenda Straley and I would get together, it was truly a time full of laughter. Joe always paid special attention to my son Dean. He and Liz would bye him pizza and always had loving fun conversations with him. Good friends, good people, God loving people that is what gives me Hope.
Love Lynne and Dean Carl. We will miss you Joe.

I’m so sorry. Joe Allen was one of my favorite people in our family. Granny used to bring me to your shop when I was little to get her hair done and I have fond memories of Joe making me laugh.
