Joe David Hoffpauir

August 24, 1958 - August 15, 2022

Joe David Hoffpauir, 63, of Beaumont, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 15, 2022.  He was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on August 24, 1958, to Clinton George Hoffpauir, Jr. and Patricia Jo Hoffpauir.

Joe was a member of Bible Missionary Church in Port Neches, Texas. He loved his church, church family, and was faithful in the Lord’s work. He enjoyed cooking and was a very talented artist. Joe was employed by Kroger’s for over forty years. For many years Joe was single but when he was introduced to Karla Montoya his life changed forever.  Joe and Karla met at the border and married 8 months later.

He is survived by his wife, Karla; brother, Kenneth Hoffpauir and wife, Judy; sister-in-law, Diane Hoffpauir Peacock and husband, Dean; nieces, Abby and Melissa; nephews, Brian and Matt; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Thomas Clinton Hoffpauir.

A gathering of Mr. Hoffpauir’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Celebration of Joe’s Life will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
