John Chambless

John Chambless, 65, of Kountze, died Friday, April 26, 2019. He was born on May 5, 1953, in Kountze, to Necil Simpson Chambless and Alfred Chambless.

Survivors include his brothers, Buddy, Paul and Henry Chambless, all of Kountze; sisters, JoAnn Champagne and Marian Kellum, both of Kountze; son, Trace Farnie; numerous nieces and nephews; and stepchildren, Odis Alvin Trull, Rickey Lee Trull, Rhonda Amanda Trull, Robert Arlin Trull, and Thomas Kirk Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Carolyn Johnson.

A gathering of John’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2019, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
