John Daigle
John Daigle was born March 31, 1929, in Beaumont, Texas, and died May 3, 2025, in Schertz, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Delia Chand Daigle. John worked for Market Basket and ALCO Construction Company for many years, both located in Beaumont, Texas, until he finally retired later in life. He was also active in Martial Arts for many years and was inducted into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame on July 12, 2003, for his dedication and time committed to the sport.
He is survived by his children, Patricia Byars (Robert), Richard Daigle (Bonnie), Linda Johnson (Harold), and Tina Miller (Tim); and sister, Theresa Daigle Everage; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A gathering of Mr. Daigle’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 9, 2025, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at China Cemetery, China, Texas.
