John Darrel Schiesler

John Darrel Schiesler passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Born on August 29, 1967, in Houston, Texas, John was raised in the city he called home.

Darrel was a devoted son, brother, and uncle. Above all, he loved the Lord and cherished his faith, regularly attending services at Parkway Church. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying football and basketball and proudly collecting jerseys and hats from his favorite teams.

John is survived by his sister, Melissa, and her husband Cory Petersen of Pearland, Texas; his niece, Alyssa, and her husband Zach Benavides of Baytown, Texas; his great-nephew, Miles Benavides; along with numerous cousins and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Linda Schiesler.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Cremation arrangements for Mr. Schiesler were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
