John Elbert Reynolds

John Elbert Reynolds, 76, of Warren, died Sunday, March 30, 2025. He was born on June 19, 1948, in Kountze, to Lela Mae Groze Revia and Riley Reynolds. He was a United States Navy veteran having served in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his mother, Lela Revia; sister, Carolyn Smith and her husband, Don, of Kountze; niece, Andrea Soileau of Kountze; nephew, Des Smith and his wife, Crystal, of Kountze; two great-nephews; and one great-great-nephew; special cousins, Barbara Graham and her husband, Bill, of Saratoga, and Thomas Cryer and his wife, Gena, of Kountze. He is preceded in death by his father; wife, April Holly Reynolds; stepfather, Harold Revia; sister, Debbie Revia Soileau; brother-in-law, Shawn Soileau; and nephew, Brad Smith.

A gathering of Mr. Reynolds’ family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His interment will follow at Holland Cemetery, Kountze.
