John “Johnny” Alan Chapman

John “Johnny” Alan Chapman, 54, of Orange, died Sunday, January 12, 2025. He was born on June 9, 1970, in Beaumont, to Jonnye Lenora Stanley Chapman and Adam Joseph Chapman, Sr.

Johnny was a bassist in the band Subject 2 Change.

Survivors include his siblings, Joe Chapman and his wife, Sandra, of Vidor; Frank Chapman of Silsbee; and Kimberly Chapman and her spouse, Brandon Manuel, of Orange; nieces, Alessa Griffin and Taylin McEachern, both of Orange; Ashlee Leger of Roganville; and Aniyah Chapman of Sulphur; nephew, Alex Chapman of Buna; and numerous other nieces, nephews, aunt, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jonnye and Adam Chapman.

A gathering of Johnny’s family and friends will be 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Victory Life Church, 7708 State Highway 87, Orange. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
