John Warren VanRanden, Jr.
John Warren VanRanden, Jr., 63, of Beaumont, died Saturday, January 23, 2021. He was born on November 17, 1957, in Port Arthur, to Sarah Virginia Hastings VanRanden and John Warren VanRanden, Sr. John was the family clown; he enjoyed cutting up and having fun. He also enjoyed fishing and having family over to cook out and sit around the fire pit.
Survivors include his sister, Lou Ann Chism, of Orange; brother, Michael VanRanden, of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Lynn Sharpe.
A gathering of Mr. VanRanden’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77704.
