Jonah Michael Turner Rich
Jonah Michael Turner Rich, 24, of Beaumont, died Friday, May 6, 2022. He was born on June 15, 1997, to Melinda Kay Humphrey and Eric Jason Turner, in Beaumont. You left our family and friends way too early. Jonah, this world was never meant for someone as beautiful as you. From the song, “Vincent”, by Don McLean.
Survivors include his husband, Joshua Rich of Lumberton; father, Eric Turner of Beaumont; mother, Melinda Humphrey and her husband, Tony, of Orange; siblings, Eva Salihu and her wife, Adelina, Jacob Turner, Mallory Beard, Mike Humphrey, Ryan Humphrey, and Brandon Humphrey; grandparents, Dr. Jerry L. Burd and Mary Helen Burd, Tony Humphrey, Sr., Anna Humphrey, and Liz and Sharon Bearden; uncle, Terry Burd and his wife, Mia, and their daughter, Katie; aunts, Patsy Dowden; Jennifer Sherrill and her husband, Mark; Grace Hefner and her husband, David; and Christine Eberle and her husband, John; father and mother-in-law, Shane and Nadine Rich; cousin, Hannah Baker and family; and numerous friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Garrett Sandlin.
A gathering of Mr. Rich’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2022, at Broussard’s. His cremation will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
