Jorge Luis Garcia

Jorge Luis Garcia, 56, of Beaumont, died Friday, August 22, 2025. Jorge Luis Garcia was born in Guanajuato, Mexico, where he spent his early years surrounded by family. At the age of 14, he courageously came to the U.S. to begin a new life in Texas. Through determination and hard work, Jorge built a successful career and became his own boss, running a respected tile business that reflected his dedication and craftsmanship. Jorge will be remembered as a kind and loving man whose presence brought warmth to everyone around him. His legacy of love, perseverance, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Survivors include his spouse, Jessica Herrera; children, Jose Luis Garcia (34); Teresa Marie Barlow (30), and her husband, Dezmon; (stepson) Oscar Herrera; and Lusila Gardenia Garcia (9); grandchildren, Maya Valerie Garcia (12), Miguel Luis Garcia (12), Melina Garcia (11), Camila Devore (8), Leo James Barlow (6), Joe Louis Garcia (1); mother, Teresa Merced Toledo; siblings, Sergio Garcia Toledo (52), Octavio Garcia Toledo (50), Ma. Olga Lidia Garcia Toledo (48), Maricruz Garcia Toledo (37); and nieces and nephews, Sergio Garcia Bermudez, Maribel, Garcia Bermudez, Octavio Garcia Arreola, Monica Garcia Arreola, Daniela Botello Garcia, Omar Botello Garcia, Antonio Botello Garcia, Nataly Botello Garcia, Maricruz Garcia Toledo, Jose Manuel Alvarado Garcia, Brandon Alvarado Garcia.

Jorge is preceded in death by his father, J. Elazar Garcia Lara, and brother-in-law, Jose Marco Antonio Botello Rodriguez.

A gathering of Mr. Garcia’s family and friends will begin 11:00 a.m. with his funeral service at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Haven of Rest, Beaumont. View livestream.
