Jose “Pispiro” Zuniga

Jose Zuniga, 57, of Winnie, died Wednesday, February 12, 2025. He was born November 25, 1967, in Mexico, to Inez Rosales and Antonio Zuniga

He is survived by his wife, Maria Zuniga; daughters, Brenda Velazquez and husband, Alfredo, and Bianca Zuniga and husband, Sergio; grandchildren, Kimberly Rojas, Daren Rojas, Evelyn Flores, Leo Velazquez, Theo Velazquez; sister, Alberta Zuniga, Josefina Zuniga; sister-in-law, Flavia Zuniga; nieces, Daisy Zuniga, Yuri Zuniga; nephews, Oscar Zuniga and Bryan Zuniga.

He is preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.

A Rosary will be recited for Mr. Zuniga will begin at 5:00 p.m., with a gathering of his friends and family to follow until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Broussard’s 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 17, 2025, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His cremation arrangement will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, 5150 Stivers Street, Beaumont.
