Joseph Gerard Ecosta
Joseph Gerard Ecosta, 73, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, January 29, 2025. He was born on October 14, 1951, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Joyce Marie Marque Ecosta and Joseph Frank Ecosta.
Survivors include his children, Kelly Thompson and her spouse, Danny Hellard, of Jacksonville, Florida; Bradley Ecosta and Crystal Combs, of Orange; Christopher Ecosta and his spouse, Maren, also of Orange; and Cody Ecosta and Megan Haston, of Silsbee; grandchildren, Jasmine Edwards and her spouse, Conner; Cole Harris, Savannah Flowers, Estella Gaines, Christian Ecosta, and Joseph Ecosta; great-grandson, Alton Hayes Edwards; sister, Cynthia Landry of Belle Rose, Louisiana; and brother, Lannie Scott and his wife, Sherry, of Holden, Louisiana.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joyce and Joseph Ecosta; wife, Gail Ecosta; son, Gabriel Ecosta; and granddaughter, Jocelyn Ecosta.
A gathering of Mr. Ecosta’s family and friends will be 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m., at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery, South 3rd Street, Silsbee.

Joe was my step brother by marriage but to me he was my brother we had some great times together when we were younger, I love you my brother always will. Rest in peace I see you again.
