Joseph Scott James
Joseph Scott James, 74, of Silsbee, died Monday, July 4, 2022. He was born on December 12, 1947, in Silsbee, to Annie Lou Ward James and Carl Cameron James. Joseph served his country in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise James; children, Jacqueline James Scroggins and her husband, Charles, of Huntsville; Vanessa Favors McAdams and her husband, Brent, of Brookeland; and Jack Favors and his wife, Amber, and Amanda Darlene Cravey, all of Silsbee; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and siblings, Diane Creekmore and her husband, Tom, of Silsbee; Portland Griffith of Zavalla; and Debo Rollins and her husband, Roland, of Alpine. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Bonnie Cone, Paul James, and Steve James.
A gathering of Joseph’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
