What a beautiful service for a beautiful life! It was so good to see so many cousins despite the circumstances. I still have a sketch Aunt Joyce drew of me when I was 6 or 7, a LONG time ago! I loved our family get-togethers as a child. I remember once the LeBlancs were heading to Pt. Neches from Nederland for supper. Aunt Joyce was making lasagna, an Italian dish. We are Cajuns! Our strict instructions from Dad relative to this FOREIGN dish, “You’ll eat it, and you’ll like it.” Well, we LOVED it, despite the “gentle push!” It did not hurt that Aunt Joyce cooked it, one of her MANY talents! I know Uncle Jimmy was happy to greet her and they are CELEBRATING in Paradise. Pray for us, Aunt Joyce.

I still have a sketch Aunt Joyce did of me at 6 or 7! Many fond memories of family get-togethers! Once our family was headed over for supper. Aunt Joyce was making lasagna (my siblings and I had NO idea what it was! Italian- we were CAJUN!). Dad warned that we would eat it and LIKE it. Well, we LOVED lasagna! It did not hurt that Aunt Joyce did the cooking! One of her many talents! I know you and Uncle Jimmy are CELEBRATING in Paradise! Pray for us.

You are so loved because you were so loving. The children that you and Uncle Jimmy raise turned out just like the both of you, what a testament to a life well lived. We will keep you close to our hearts until we can break bread again on the other side.

    Love you all,
    Daniel and Sherrye

Sending my love and prayers to all of you. I treasure the memory of my last visit with your Mom. I brought cookies and we had such a nice chat. She was a role model for me during my formative years. Love and prayers being sent to all who loved her.
God be with all of you,

My dear Sister-in-law, you were a woman of many talents. I admired your faith, artistic ability, and delicious roast. Your bread making skills were to be envied as well. Your gift of hospitality was such a welcoming presence when Mike, the kids and I would visit. You always made us feel at home. We will miss you but know you ran the good race and now it is time for your reward. As Nichole said, “I am happy for Aunt Joyce.” Sending you and your sweet family much love, ✝️????♥️ D’Ann, Mike and Family

    Mom,

I cannot put into words how much you mean to Yan & I (and my siblings). You were a constant & steady presence in my life, and you were always there to encourage & guide me. I will always remember the family gatherings, Christmas & Thanksgiving, and those times when we visited you from Austin/Round Rock or we brought you to central Texas for a visit. Those memories are priceless. I am comforted knowing your suffering is over, and you are now with Dad in Heaven. We hope to see you again in the next life.

    Love,

Your Son Ben & Your Daughter-in-Law Yan
