Juan Gabriel Castro

Juan Gabriel Castro, 52, of Port Arthur, died Thursday, December 15, 2022. He was born on March 1, 1970, in Eagle Pass, to Maria Del Refugio Jaime and Juan Antonio Castro.

Anyone who knew Juanito knew his passion of being outdoors, riding his bike, fishing, and his extreme love for music. He was a gentle soul with a big heart and a beautiful smile. He loved his family dearly. Especially his nieces and nephews. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, and uncle. We will truly miss you! Until we meet again “Big J”.

Survivors include his mother, Maria Castro of Port Arthur; sisters, Veronica Camacho, and her husband, Abel, of Port Neches; Patricia Johnson and her husband, Jeremiah, of Amarillo; and Monica Palmer and her husband, Brandon, of Georgetown; brother, Jose Castro and his wife, Brenda, of Port Arthur; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and a host of other relatives.

Juan is preceded in death by his father, Juan Castro.

Cremation arrangements for Mr. Castro were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
