Judith Ann Cloud
Judith Ann White Cloud, 84, of Wildwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at home on Thursday, September 11, 2025. She was born on May 10,1941, in Beaumont, to Angelina Catalina White and Benjamin Burns White, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Greg Cloud; daughter, Melinda Gibson and her husband, Kenny, of Silsbee; grandchildren, Amber Meredith and her husband, Shawn, of Silsbee; Ty Gibson of Silsbee; and great-grandchildren, Bryson Meredith, Jaxon Meredith and Madison Gibson all of Silsbee. She is proceeded in death by her parents.
Judy lived a full beautiful life. She had a childlike adventurous spirt that left you feeling a vibrant connection to life. She was kind, fun, and a God-fearing woman. She did many things during her time on this earth. Jobs ranged from skilled hairdresser to a foxy overhead crane operator for North Star Steel, where she met the love of her life, Greg. Judy had another love, Melinda Ann. Melinda was Judy’s world and with the addition of Greg, her life was complete. In her youngers years she could be found sitting around the table with her mother and Italian grandmother that played a large part in her up bringing. Often, Judy could be spotted hiding her dirt bike before the school bus passed. This was necessary to avoid a tongue lasing from an embarrassed Melinda Ann. On the weekend, Judy could be seen riding horseback with Greg on a local trail ride. She also was known to cut a rug on the beach from time to time. Judy did not need liquid courage; it’s just who she was. Happiness made her feet move and Greg made her happy. Judy could not have found a more devout loving husband than Greg Cloud. Judy brought joy and laughter at family gatherings, the golf course, or wrapped up in Greg’s arms jitterbugging. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and they adored her. The moment she came over, the great-grandchildren would take GiGi by the hand and pull her into their rooms to play. If you go to Judy’s home, you will see pictures proudly displayed of her family.
Family and the Lord was everything to Judy. She had a true servant’s heart. Loving others was her God given talent. She loved her Happy Valley Church family and was so thankful for the friendships made there. Judy was a big part of our family, we have a huge void in our hearts and our lives will not be the same without her around. Judy will forever be missed by all.
A gathering of Mrs. Cloud’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Happy Valley Church, 3435 Highway 418 West, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
