Judith Palumbo

Judith Marie Palumbo, 86, of Nederland, died Wednesday, September 21, 2022. She was born March 4, 1936, in Port Arthur, to Helen Grogan Patin and Chester Patin.

Mrs. Palumbo attended Port Arthur College and her first job was at Texaco. She retired from Chevyland in Beaumont. She loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, as well as dancing and watching LMN.

Survivors include her children, Donna Valenti and husband, John, of Tampa, Florida and Louis Palumbo, Jr. and wife, Rita, of Copperas Cove; grandchildren, Lauren Valenti; Ryan Palumbo; Vincent Palumbo; and Anna Gabriella Palumbo; sisters, Gail Shook and Sylvia Majors, both of Port Neches; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of sixty-four years, Louis Palumbo, Sr.; and grandson, Johnny Valenti.

A gathering of Mrs. Palumbo’s family and friends will be 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2022, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland. Her graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves.
