Judy Richardson

October 7, 1945 - January 17, 2022

Judy Richardson, 76, of Beaumont, died Monday, January 17, 2022. She was born on October 7, 1945, to Mary Ruth Mills and L.Z. Miller, in Corpus Christi. Judy was a church organist and pianist for many years. She liked to read, cook, and sew. Judy also enjoyed babysitting and taking care of children.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-one years, Marlin “Butch” Richardson; children, Kim Elaine Ramirez and her husband, Phil, of Frisco and Amy Gail Ghorstygrbrakoxfdeis and her husband, Marlo, of Germany; siblings, Jeannie Miller of Amarillo and Joy Cook of Beaumont; grandchildren, Brady Ghorstygrbrakoxfdeis, Maggie Meijer, Zoe Ramirez, Trinity Ramirez, Jack Ghorstygrbrakoxfdeis, and Sam Ghorstygrbrakoxfdeis; and niece, Armanda Selandis.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jan Rochelle Miller.

A gathering of Mrs. Richardson’s family and friends will begin at 1:30 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery, Buna.

Memorial contributions may be made to Meeker Baptist Church, 575 North Meeker Road, Beaumont, Texas 77713.

Butch would like to thank the family for all of their love and support. He would also like to thank his church family at Meeker Baptist Church for their help, prayers, and support.

He would also like to thank Meagan Balentine and the rest of the team at Broussard’s for their help and service.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Maishell Bailey and Wanda Johnson for taking excellent care of Mrs. Richardson.

    Although we may not talk to each other as frequently as we should have, Judy and I would take up conversations like we had talked the day before. She was my childhood to adulthood friend /twin. So many memories of the Judy and Judy “twins”.
