Julia Alma Turbeville, 89, of Winnie, died Monday, May 26, 2025, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on October 28, 1935, in Fulton, Kansas, to Julia Alma Cadwell and Luther Martin Harned.

Survivors include her children, Glen Turbeville and his wife, Josefina, of Hamshire and Mary Millard and her husband, Jim, of Double Horn; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Turbeville of Brenham; grandchildren, Julia Stephanie Turbeville of Columbus, South Carolina, Austin Turbeville of Brenham, and Tiffany Turbeville of Seabrook; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Kelly and Cullen Kelly; sister, Darlene Robinson of Fort Scott, Kansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wallis Smith; son, Edward Turbeville; brothers, Ed Harned and Willie Harned; and sister, Leona Harned.

A memorial service for Mrs. Turbeville will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A burial of her cremated body will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
