Juliette Dies

Juliette Rose Dies “Pullet”, 89, of Vidor, died Thursday, April 7, 2022. She was born August 14, 1932, in Port Arthur, to Josefa Antonia Batista and Ferdinand Thomas Fornols.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen Miller; granddaughters, Julie Broussard and husband, Tony; April Haley; Caren Collins and husband, Dave; Summer Molina; and Nikki Vaquera and husband, Rolando; grandson, Adam Guidry and wife, Isabel; great-granddaughters, Airel Esquivel and husband, Dylan; MaKayla; Anna; Alijah; Arianna; Kelcey; Keagan; Kyndall; Sydnie; Veronica; and Little Summer; great-grandsons, Matthew; Little Dave; and Cannon; great-great-grandchildren, Carson; Harper; Indie; Alexxa; Dominic; Junior; Ava; Nahla; Braylee; Kimry; and Caleb; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Gerald Balitzky; husband, Amos Dies; daughters, Pam Coleman and Gail Guidry; infant son Balitzky; grandsons, Joshua Miller, David Miller, and Paul Haley Jr.; great-granddaughter, baby Heavenly; great-great-grandson, Arlo; and siblings, Mary Fornols, Ferdinand Fornols, Georgette F. Cheek, John J. Fornols, Gloria Mae Fornols, George Richard Fornols, Frank Fornols, Pedro Jesus Fernandez, Antonio Fernandez, and Josephine Fornols Ortego.

A gathering of Mrs. Dies’ family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
