June Marie Reeves
June Marie Reeves, 90, of Houston, died Tuesday, February 13, 2024. She was born on June 12, 1933, in Toledo, Ohio to Esther Hayes and Joseph Gandy Davis.
Survivors include her children, Catherine King of Houston; Clyde Reeves and his wife, LouAnne, of Bellville; Myla Ramsey and her husband, Mike, of Houston; and Jeanine Katzer and her husband, Kevin, of Conroe; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and siblings, Patsy Stubbs of Port Arthur, and Howard Davis of Orange.
June is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Clifton Reeves; siblings, Robert Davis; Francis Davis; Sybil M. Wilson; and Gloria Duhon.
June lived a full and happy life, surrounded by those who loved her. She was a devoted wife to Cliff and a constant source of love in the lives of her children. June adored her grandchildren and although she was not able to spend much time with her great grandchildren, she loved seeing videos and photos of each one of them. She was an accomplished seamstress, quilter, and artist. June will be greatly missed by all who knew her. There will be a private Celebration of Life for her family.

Girls’ Haven is a residential facility that seeks to provide a safe, nurturing environment for girls that are 6-18 years old who are affected by physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, neglect, exploitation, abandonment, or severe family dysfunction.
Cremation arrangements for Mrs. Reeves were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
June and Cliff were so welcoming and helpful when we moved to Toledo Bend.
Cliff’s wit, helping hand for any chore and June’s sweet personality, smile and beauty endeared both to us. I don’t think they ever met a stranger. We were blessed to call them friends
