JW Smith

JW Smith, 76, of Conroe, died Sunday, May 25, 2025. He was born on January 6, 1949, in Newton, to Hazel Spears Smith and John Henry Smith.

Survivors included his sons, Jason Wayne Smith, of Lufkin; and Johnny Wayne Smith and his wife, Wendy, of Moss Hill; daughter, Rhonda Smith; grandchildren, Justin Wayne Smith, Jared Matthew Smith, Jonathan Michael Smith, Jaden Nicholas Smith, Raven Cruz, Taryn Cantu, and Amber Cantu; siblings, Sue Hobbs, of Conroe; Doris Stockton, of Livingston; Cathy West, of Silsbee; and Robert Smith and his wife, Deana, of Kountze. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Johnny Smith.

Mr. Smith’s graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025, at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery, South 3rd Street, Silsbee, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
