Katherine Louise Williams

April 14, 1962 - February 1, 2025

Katherine Louise Williams, 62, of Silsbee, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on February 1, 2025. She was born on April 14, 1962, in San Pedro, California, to Ruby Lee Conger and Eugene Donald Stewart Sr.

Katherine loved creating and she was always crafting something, whether it was crocheting a new blanket or making a meal in the kitchen. She enjoyed going on motorcycle rides with her husband, John, who she was happily married to for thirty-eight years. Katherine was incredibly dedicated to her husband and her children and always put them before herself. She always met people with a smile that lit up the room and was well loved and respected by those she worked with, her friends, and her family. Katherine truly believed in the Lord and always remained faithful. She was always giving and caring for others in any way she could.

Katherine continued her caring spirit in helping others by donating her liver to save a life, both of her kidneys to enhance the lives of two people, and potentially many more with tissue donation on February 2, 2025.

She is survived by her husband, John S. Williams; her children, Richard Cope and his wife, Shelly, of Orange; Tammy Cope of Silsbee; Shawn Williams and his wife, Chandra, of Beaumont; and Katlyn Williams and her fiancé, George Herrera, of Leander; sixteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Tina Hafer, of Beaumont, California.

She is preceded in death by her father, Eugene Stewart Sr.; her mother, Ruby Conger; and her brothers, Gary Stewart and Eugene Stewart Jr.

A celebration of life will be held for Katherine from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., with her memorial service at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
