Bob, so sorry for your loss. I only met her a couple times and for that short time I got to know how loving and caring Katie was. My heart goes out to you and your family.

My dear sister Kathleen... Katie was kind and gentle, my memory of my two sisters, recently standing in the ocean, knee deep holding hands talking the afternoon away. Bob taking the family to Galveston Bay, on that bright sunny day. Katie told me how she adored and loved her brothers. The many hours she spent at Animal Rescue Shelter's, bearing gifts and coming home with the one that needed love the most. Katie, learning from you I have become a kinder and more compassionate person. Love, Bruce Shaw (Your loving brother)

I'm so sorry to hear of my Aunt Katie's passing. She was so sweet and loving. Growing up my Mom would always say to me "You remind me so much of your Aunt Katie" I always enjoy looking back on all the pictures of the Shaws during the late 70's that my Mom passed down to me. I will treasure them. The world lost a truly beautiful soul Love, Melissa Hoover
