Kaygan Noelle Blanchette
Kaygan Noelle Blanchette, 12, of Beaumont, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas, due to complications from Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. She was a lifelong resident of Beaumont, Texas. Her name was chosen by combining the first 3 letters of her mother’s name, Kay+Gan, the last three letters in her father’s name.
Kaygan was an exceptional and beautiful child with lovely, touching, green eyes. She brought light, happiness, smiles and humor into every room she entered. She always lightened the mood. With tender loving care she always helped her younger siblings. She watched over them and was a perfect big sister and best friend to Lola. She had a great affinity to love and in return was loved by many.
Kaygan enjoyed many, many activities. Kaygan was successful in everything she did. From a very early age she was involved in pageants. In that world, she rose to capture the title of “2016 Our Little Miss Universal Beauty” by competing with others from all over the US and other countries. She also started dance lessons at the age of 2 dancing for 8 years at iRule dance studio. She performed in many shows and competitions. Kaygan also loved sports of all kinds. She enjoyed rooting for the Astros with her Pop. She played girls softball as pitcher and 3rd base and threw a mean fast pitch. She played on several local teams and regional select teams. She was always #15 and was so loved by her teammates and coaches that her number has now been retired. She also ran track, played pickle ball and volleyball.
Kaygan attended All Saints Episcopal School and was in 6th grade. She was very intelligent excelling in her schoolwork there. She loved being a part of the drama troupe and had made this year’s volleyball team. She was extremely excited to be in Jr. High School. She leaves behind many friends and wonderful teachers there.
Kaygan was a lifelong member of North End Baptist Church in Beaumont. Kaygan came to know her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 29, 2020, and was baptized outside in a large tub that April during the Covid pandemic because she “just couldn’t wait”. This fact, the act of Salvation through Jesus Christ, was her greatest and most cherished achievement. Kaygan lived a life as a child of “The One True King” showing many others the peace and happiness that can be found in knowing Jesus. It was her goal to “Live Christ” so that others might see and come to know Him. Her faith carried her, gave her a kindness towards others, a heart for service, and a deep desire to worship. She loved to sing. She loved praising God in song and worshiping Him with loving kindness towards others. Kaygan was selfless. She became known as #kindkaygan.
Kaygan was most comfortable at home with her family. She never knew a home without Christ in it. Loved so dearly by her family, home was always where she wanted to be. Her parents gave her the best life possible. She never wanted for anything. She always felt loved. She enjoyed sitting on the porch talking and playing with her “crazy cousin crew” as she most rightly cofounded and named. (Noah, Herself, Aiden, Lola, Maeve, Henry and Jude.) She took many trips with her Mom, Dad, “crazy cousin crew”, aunts, uncle, and Blossom and Pop to Pensacola Florida. She loved the beach in Pensacola and the snow in Colorado. She took Christmas trips to Breckenridge with her Mom, Dad and siblings. She also loved to bake with her mom or simply to eat a bag of chips watching a movie with her Dad. At home everyone talks at the same time. It’s always loud and she loved it. But when she needed a little solace, she would spend a few days at Sunni’s house.
When it came to the end she fought the good fight against that evil, called cancer. And on Saturday November 23rd, she excelled again and won. Now she is healed and is seated at the feet of her Heavenly Father, praising Him for all eternity, the way she was meant to be, complete and perfect. Even though she was so loved by her family and will be extremely missed, because of her faith in Christ as her Lord and Savior, goodbye will not be forever but only “see you after while!” She would certainly want you to come to that saving knowledge as well. (John 3:16).
Kaygan is survived by her Father and Mother, Logan and Kayla Blanchette; sisters, Lola and Maeve; and her brother, Jude; maternal grandparents, Bob and Karen Forcier (Blossom and Pop); aunts, Sunni Forcier and Whitney Witzleben and uncle, Chris and their children- cousins, Noah, Aiden, and Henry; great-grandmother, Bette Forcier; great-uncles and aunts, Tom Forcier (Misty), Chris Forcier (Ardy), and Ray Siver (Laura) and their children; paternal grandparents, Terri LeBlanc (Tissy) and Lin and Donna Blanchette (Gangy and Gigi); uncles, Trent Childs and Trace Broussard; aunts, Mallory and Michael Ewing, Stephanie Blanchette, Heather and Josh Christopher, and Sean Johnson; and cousins, Harper and Hank, Holly, Hunter, Hayden and Abigail, and Kaison, Khloe, and Kynli.

I played softball with Kaygan for about four years she was the most loving person I knew. Always bringing laughter and fun wherever she went. I hope she knows how much she meant to all of us.

I hope you fly high 😇
Our family was so blessed by this sweet Angels presence every time we were together. She was always so positive and loving no matter the situation she faced. In that pitching circle, she gave it all she had, but that’s the way she lived her life. We love you guys and will keep your family in our prayers.
Kayla & family, our girls went to iRule together for about 3 years. Kaygan was always so sweet & had a spunky attitude. I couldn’t imagine how you feel or what you’re going through right now. Losing a child so young is unimaginable. I’m praying for you and your family. Sending love & hugs your way.
Kaygan is dancing with the angels now ❤️
For all the family of Kaygan,

As a mother of a little girl who is currently battling to overcome cancer, I can relate in so many ways. My daughter is just a year older than Kaygan and I have felt so much pain and despair through this whole process. My mother heart aches for Kaygan’s mom and family. But I wanted to remind you that you are never alone as God is near to the brokenhearted. While we can’t fathom or understand, we can rest in knowing she is completely healed. I pray that the Lord gives you peace that surpasses all understanding. Continued love and Prayers.
May God bless your family our prayers are with all of you. Our granddaughter Brynlee played softball with Kaygen such a sweet little girl.💗🙏🏻
