Kenneth Baker

Kenneth Baker, 88, of Wildwood, died Friday, November 8, 2024, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on December 7, 1935, to Virginia Aubuchon Baker and Samuel Baker, in Donna, Texas and was a United States Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Baker; son, Bruce Baker and his wife, Donna, of Texas City; daughter, Carla Ramsay and her husband, Michael, of Beaumont; son, Monte Baker and his wife, Norma Jean, of Bartow, Florida; sister, Barbara Ferguson of Baytown; grandchildren, Mandy Spell and her husband, Jeremy of Dayton; Cody Thomas and his wife, Dana, of Dayton; Jeffrey Baker and his wife, Samantha, of Mont Belvieu; Madi Barraque and her husband, Garrett, of Beaumont; Zac Baker and his wife, Shenandoah, of Buna; Tyler Almanza of Austin; Sara Baker of Ashdown, Arkansas; Kennedy Hearn of Austin; Amanda Ramsay of Groves; Devon Decote and her husband, Clay, of Geismar, Louisiana; Aubrey Baker of Bartow, Florida; Isabella Baker of Bartow, Florida; and Tricia Peterson and her husband, Justin, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and twelve great-grandchildren with three more on the way.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Virginia; brother, Chester Baker; and son, Jeff Baker.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, Virginia 22116-7023.

A gathering of Mr. Baker’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2024, at Broussard’s 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
