Kenneth Boyd Catron
Kenneth Boyd Catron, 76, of Nederland, died Tuesday, October 15, 2024. He was born November 29, 1947, in Rose Hill, Virginia, to Alberta Louise Ritchie Catron and Cull Catron.
He was very involved with V.F.W. and was past Commander of American Legion Post 41, Orange, Texas. He spent 20+ years in the United States Army as a Staff Sargent E6. Kenneth served in the Vietnam War, receiving several medals including Vietnam Service and Campaign Medals, Meritorious Unit Citation, Army Commendation Medal, Purple Heart, and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm.
Survivors include his daughter, Kelli Jean Romano-Catron, of Vidor; son, Eric Michael Romano-Catron, of Beaumont; half-daughter, Priscilla Caudill, of Pineville, Kentucky; brothers, Franklin Catron and wife, Sarika, of San Angelo, and David Catron, of Rose Hill, Virginia; and many grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and ten siblings.
Mr. Catron’s cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.

I am just now hearing of Ken’s passing. My “Ken Folk” will be missed. I still have my Peeps that I got during COVID when I couldn’t see Ken. RIP my friend.
