Kenneth “Bubba” James

Kenneth “Bubba” James, 72, of Warren, died Thursday, May 29, 2025. He was born on November 11, 1952, to Myrna Loy Trump and Malvin Edward James, in Beaumont.

Bubba loved his precious pug, Mudgrip, with all of his heart. He enjoyed hunting, watching old westerns, fishing in the pond, gardening, and spending time with family and loved to spoil his nieces and great-nieces and great-nephews. His eyes lit up and sparkled when he was around his loved ones and he will truly be missed.

 ‘To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”            -2 Corinthians 5:8

Survivors include his sister, Julianne Pell of Lumberton; nieces, Misty Sims and her husband, Heath, of Silsbee and Brandy Shipp and her husband, Brian, of Lumberton; great-nephew, Justin Whitney and his wife, Samantha, of Silsbee; great-niece, Regan Ware and her husband, Jerry, of Lumberton; great-nephew, Shane Whitney and his girlfriend, Mackenzie Vojacek, of Silsbee; great-niece, Marlee Shipp and her boyfriend, Kyler Woodland, of Lumberton; and cousin, Len Gay and his wife, Carol, of Lumberton.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
