Kenneth Oscar Smith

Kenneth Oscar Smith, 71, of Kountze, died Monday, January 8, 2024.  He was born on June 17, 1952, in Beaumont, to Maryalice Seals Smith and Kenneth Harold Smith.  Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Rosalie Smith; children, Paul Smith and his wife, Monika, of Erlingen, Germany; Sandy Thomas and her husband, Malcolm, of Kountze; and Ashley Smith of Beaumont; grandchildren, Paul Smith, Jr., Anthony, Taylor, Amy, and Brandon; and siblings, Wendell Smith, Kathleen Dalahite, and Gwen Smith, all of Kountze.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of Kenneth’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Grace Church, 1130 Highway 69, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
