LaFaye G. Bendy was born on March 21, 1955, and she departed this life on November 20, 2023, in Baytown, Texas, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of many.
Her memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday November 25, 2023, at Greater Zion Baptist Church, 2317 Cable Avenue, Beaumont.
The family requests all flowers be delivered to the church at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday before service time.
Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

I send my deepest condolences to all family and friends . I knew Tootie being neighbors. She was always upbeat, always smiling and happy. Nothing was more important than family and her heart was all about family, always full of joy talking of her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. I met Tootie 22 years ago thru her daughter. In my time with her, it was always a happy time. She was a sweetheart and loved the kids. She will be missed tremendously. Sending my deepest condolences and prayers to the family. May her soul forever rest in paradise. 💔🙏🏾✝️

My husband and I are extremely saddened to hear of Ms. B’s passing. We just got word. We both worked with her for many years at Fugro in Westlake, LA. Not only was she an excellent employee, she was a better person and friend. This is somewhat a shock for us, I’m so sorry. You are in my prayers.
