Larry Gauthreaux

November 25, 1967 - September 25, 2020

Larry Patrick Gauthreaux at the age of 52 unexpectedly passed away September 25, 2020 in Winnie, Texas at his residence. Larry was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 25, 1967. He was married to Beverly Boyd for twenty-one years. 

Larry worked in the oil fields most of his life on land and offshore rigs, and the last few years he mowed lawns around Winnie for several families. His main love in life was family, cooking, traveling, going to the beach, being with friends, taking care of his yards, and his animals. Larry was a die-hard New Orleans Saints fan. 

He will be dearly missed by his son, Larry Patrick Gauthreaux, Jr; stepsons, Joseph W. McCord; Eric W. McCord and his wife, Crystal; Adam M. Boyd; and Ian W. Boyd; brothers, Robert Dale Gauthreaux and his wife, Donna; and Earl Anthony Gauthreaux; sisters, Linda Fay Encalade and her husband, Villie; and Becky Villejoin and her husband, Randy; and many nieces, nephews, cousin, aunts, uncles, grandchildren, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Dalton Joseph Gauthreaux, Sr.; mother, Flossie Mary Comeaux; brother, Dalton Joseph Gauthreaux, Jr. (T-Bird); and sister, Claudette Gauthreaux. 

A memorial gathering for Mr. Gauthreaux will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Monday, October 5, 2020, at Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
