Larry Joseph Etue

June 8, 1947 - December 1, 2021

Larry Joseph Etue, 74, of Evadale, died Wednesday, December 1, 2021.  He was born on June 8, 1947, in Evadale, to Margie Hester Etue and Clarence Etue.  Larry proudly served his country in the United States Navy, serving two tours in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife of forty-nine years, Diane Etue; children, Annette Smith and her husband, Kirk, of Nederland and John Etue and his wife, Cristine, of LaGrange; grandchildren, Jackson Etue, Kooper Smith and Caroline Etue; sister, Sheila Herrin and her husband, Joe, of Evadale; and many other family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kelvin Etue.

Larry’s memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a charity of one’s choice or to a local organization that helps supply children with Christmas gifts.
