Pastor Laurence "Larry" Whitney Meaux

Pastor Laurence “Larry” Whitney Meaux, Sr., 89, of Winnie, died Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Riceland Medical Center, Winnie. He was born on May 29, 1931, in Wright, Louisiana, to Mable Thompson Meaux and Tetan Meaux.

Survivors include his wife, Delta Meaux, of Winnie; son, Larry Meaux, Jr., of Winnie and Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter, Letty Smith and her husband, Larry, of Winnie; grandchildren, Corrie Jones and her husband, Ricky, of Winnie and Barry Smith, of San Diego, California; great-grandchildren, Cody Jones, of Lafayette, Louisiana, Lane Jones, of Winnie, and Daniel Jones, of Winnie; numerous cousins, nieces, and other family members; and his cat, Lizzy.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Huey P. Meaux.

A graveside service for Mr. Meaux will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
