Ledoit David Mattox

Ledoit David Mattox, 85, of Lumberton, died Tuesday, December 5, 2023. He was born on April 23, 1938, in Lavinia, Tennessee, to Irene Walker Mattox and Dave Mattox.

Survivors include his children, David Alan Mattox and his wife, Diane, of Madison, Mississippi, and Jada Woodard of Medina, Tennessee; four grandchildren; and brother, Frank Mattox of Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Virginia A. Mattox.

A memorial service for Mr. Mattox will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 8, 2023, at First Baptist Church, 1206 South Main Street, Lumberton. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
