Lee Wayne Foux

March 15, 1948 - August 30, 2021

Lee Wayne Foux died August 30, 2021, from Covid complications. Lee Wayne was born March 15, 1948, in Beaumont.  He was a life-long resident of China, Texas where he attended elementary school.  He graduated from Hardin-Jefferson High School in Sour Lake and attended Lamar University.

Lee Wayne’s family and friends remember him as a good-hearted jokester with a mischievous, infectious grin who could always be depended on in times of need.  Lee Wayne was a talented draftsman and carpenter, who found satisfaction in building cabinets, gliders, and bed swings for friends and family after retiring. Everyone knows his love for animals; every morning he took Nico and Rusty for their morning ride. And his beloved Jolie Blonde is waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge.

Lee Wayne is survived by his three sons, Jason Foux; Seth Foux and his wife, Dana; and Aaron Foux; sisters, Catherine Foux and Janelle Vahdat and her husband, Shawn; grandsons, Kacey and Keeth; granddaughter, Sophia; great-granddaughters, Isabella and Lauryn; numerous cousins; special friend, Sharon White; and his two fur babies, Nico and Rusty.

A resident of Beaumont, Lee Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Levy J. and Velma Foux, of China; and granddaughter, Emily Foux.

It was Lee Wayne’s wish to be cremated; his friend Brandon will take him on his last Harley ride and spread his ashes in Deadwood, South Dakota.  A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be planned for after Covid restrictions are lifted.  Meanwhile, thank you for your vast outpouring of love for Lee Wayne on FaceBook. Your kind words mean a lot to his family.
