Leslie Ann Cobb
Leslie Ann Davis Cobb, lifelong resident of Beaumont, was born January 4, 1935. She continued her spiritual journey Saturday, November 19, 2022.
Leslie loved her family dearly and enjoyed traveling, music, and reading. She had many friends and made a difference in many lives. She as a graduate of Beaumont High School and attended Lamar University and the University of Michigan. She had a forty-year career with Gulf State Utility Company retiring in 1995 as Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Entergy Corporation. Leslie served on the boards of United Way, the American Heart Association, and the Edison Museum. She was an active member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church over the years served on the Vestry and a longtime member of the choir.
Leslie is survived by her son, David Ogden and his wife, Dianne; son-in-law, Tommy; sisters, Mary Herford, Joyce Boden, and Pat Lynch; brother, Allen Davis; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie J. Cobb; parents, Sammie and Leslie Davis; son, Terry Ogden; daughter, Cathy Wright; grandson, Kevin Wright; and brother, Curtis Davis.
A gathering of Mrs. Cobb’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 680 Calder Avenue, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont. Please join the family immediately after the service in the cloister for the reception.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church Music Fund, 680 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77701 or National Parkinson’s Foundation, 200 Southeast 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, Florida 33131, or to an organization of one’s choice.
The family would like to thank Cindy Hussey, Ann’s niece and caregiver for the last 4 years of her life and her sister, Joyce Boden, who offered her home for Ann’s care.

So sorry to hear about Ann RIP
Just found out about Ann’s passing. I am a big fan from our ’53 BHS class, St. Mark’s, and her professional career. I pray God will give her family comfort and peace.
Ann was such a wonderful, caring, sweet lady. Heaven gained an exceptional angel. RIP Ann.

Ann and Lonnie were dear friends and fellow co-workers. I miss them both. Precious memories of some really good times.
Mrs. Cobb was a dear lady and friend.
She was on the Edison Plaza Museum when I was the Curator there. She graciously helped me make many necessary decisions. I will miss her.
I remember her & Lonnie very well as they were fun to be around. Very nice people! Would see her around town & get a big smile & wave from her.
She had been on my mind lately and now the news of her passing. She will be missed by many.

Ann, I never worked directly with you but I’ve enjoyed many social interactions with you and Lonnie. You were beautiful , intelligent, and were so I much fun to be around.
