Leslie Braddock

September 12, 1943 - June 28, 2018

Leslie Braddock, 74, of Groves, died Thursday, June 28, 2018. He was born on September 12, 1943, in Orange, to Maddie Elizabeth Smith Braddock and Leslie Clay Braddock, Sr.

Leslie was a United States Army veteran. He loved fishing, playing poker with friends, and collecting coins. Leslie was an avid fan of TV western movies and retired as a pipefitter for the Local 195.

Survivors include his daughter, Christine Hanson and her husband, Jay, of Nederland and Elizabeth McLain and her husband, Brian, of Port Neches; grandson, Nicholas Hanson and his wife, Katelyn. Granddaughter, Morgan McLain; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lydia Braddock; brother, Norman Pearson; and sisters, Mary Ann Self and Thelma Mays.

A gathering of Mr. Braddock’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 618 Block Street, Port Neches.
